Canopy

Has anyone any info on new canopy supplies for the Nipper? Is it worth trying to get a number of new ones made?

No 36

Nipper No 36 is getting there... woodwork on the wings is complete and they just need covering. The fuselarge frame is done and work with all the wooden bits etc is underway. I am still looking for a Revmaster if anyone has one they want to sell.

Revmaster engine

Does anyone have any experience with the revmaster 2100d vw conversion. Can it be made to fit a Nipper? I have a new Leburg ignition (The engine is currently fitted with Lucas coils).
Many thanks Richard

Nipper No 36

Work has started on a full restoration of Nipper No 36, VH-CGB. I am going to make it as original as possible. I am still looking for a suitable engine has anyone got anything? A Rolinson would be ideal.
Thanks Richard 07787518662

Dear Matt,
I might have the backing material from TC. It was ok but not that good looking. Will post it up if I find it.

Firewall finish

I have firewall and was wondering how they were finished. Mine looks like it has been painted which is probably not the thing to do, was the metal just polished? or is it coated with something?
Many thanks Richard

VW Engine choice.. Help!

I am putting together a Nipper with as yet no reg. I have decided on the VW engine. The great plains or Aero Vee look like the two contenders (I also have a Leburg ign). The Aero Vee has the advantage of a re start! but I would need to get the thing approved by the LAA etc. If I go for the Great Pla...
