Hello All, The inevitable has happened and we now have a Facebook group specifically for those with direct involvement with Nipper ownership or maintenance. As is the way of the world it seems sensible that we open this resource, but I am keen to keep this site active and fresh. Facebook would perha...

Nipper Project For Sale.

Hello All, I have been approached by a gentleman who is involved with handling the estate of a late friend, who was part way through restoring Nipper G-AXZM. He is seeking a good home for the entire project, and a fair price for the lot. He doesn’t wish to sell parts or break the project up. The air...

Re: Wing Tanks

Hello,
I am not quite sure what was done, but I have asked Paul Grellier who did the job, to comment.
He should be along soon, I hope.
Paul.

Re: Wing Tanks

Hi Paul,
I have fitted a pair of forward facing vents which probably create positive pressure within the tank. They both work very well.

Re: Wing Tanks

Hello both, A bit late to the party, but I am here now! My experiences with tip tanks have been almost the same. This is how I sorted it... Firstly the floats don’t work as expected. I tried and tried and couldn’t achieve reliability with them. Often they would ‘hang up’ and not drop as the fuel lev...

Re: The Bee and Me

Hi Kate, Great to see you taking part in the forum. I’d like it to get a bit more active! Lovely to see you are still flying her, and well done on the forced landings. No more though, eh? I still cherish the memory of flying the Bee from Barton all those years ago. Thanks again. I would be keen for ...

WHERE IS THE CANOPY MOLD?

I have been contacted by Paul Grellier of Airweld, who is seeking his canopy mold.
Loaned to someone and not been returned so far.
He has an immediate need for it and would like it back ASAP please.
Does anyone know the current whereabouts of this?
Thanks.
Paul.

Hi Jonas, Welcome to the group. The rally is always excellent. Be sure to stay on the Saturday evening for the social activities. Great fun. Worth booking accommodation early though, it gets busy. If you fly in, you can camp onsite. The best way to do it, i think.. Unfortunately I am unable to atten...

Re: NIPR over the Highlands. Spring 2018.

Thank you! Yes I did. I am very lucky that this area is just 25 Miles to the west of my base, and it doesn’t take long to get there. The snow has gone now, but they still look stunning. I’ll try and get some more pictures the next time I fly. The Scottish Highlands have got to be one of the best pla...

NIPR over the Highlands. Spring 2018.

More fun and games over the beautiful Scottish Highlands, caught on the wing tip go-pro. With the clear conditions like this it is almost impossible not to get a good photo! 826F2161-7779-4CAB-9A01-13EBA0FA10CF.jpeg 85806CAD-1E30-441D-A50E-E8572145E9D4.jpeg 229E0F66-2218-4BFF-9E4F-72930590300A.jpeg ...

Hello guys, Sorry I missed the previous question about this. Please contact Paul Grellier at AirWeld, near Winchester. He has all the info you need, and probably also the drawings. He will also advise the part number as supplied by LAS. He is a nice guy and always happy to help. Good luck. Paul. G-N...
