I am restoring a 1600 VW engine and need to find or manufacture original engine studs and spacers for MK III mounting.
I attach a section of Nipper drawing no 10, and am looking for items M1600/1, M1600/2, M1600/3, plus lower stud.
Can anyone help?

Do you know where that engine you so eloquently described as having a ‘Lump’ on the back is now. I believe it may be the engine I built for G-ASXI, see photos. Incidentally I remember the tacho was driven off the oil pump.
