Re: Spinning
Hi Neil Many thanks for sharing your experience and for the advice given re spinning. I can endorse your comments re 'always expect the unexpected' when flying aero's. I have had experience of XD flicking out during slow loops and have also asked myself the question 'How did it do that' when getting...

You can count me in also.
Whilst I replaced all mine last year a spare set would be useful.
I have a spare set of nose rubbers to lease if someone is stuck.

Re: Charity Fund Raising Flight
Thanks Neil The easiest way to donate is by logging on to Baracelona Bangers. It is a rally that my son in law is taking part in at this moment. Their name is "Team T" and he is raising money for CLIC Sargent which will be added to my donated cheque. [see donations] I will not make your in...

Re: Charity Fund Raising Flight
Hi fellow Nippers I have just returned from my charity flight, many thanks to those that offered help, if needed. Whilst the weather prevented me from visiting the south east coast and a couple of other nippering places I managed the trip without too many hitches. Here is a short account of my fligh...

Re: Charity Fund Raising Flight
Thank you Neil for your kind offer.
I am not sure of my return track as the weather may have some say.
Raised £1100 so far for the CLIC Sergant charity from generous friends and a local pub auction.

Hi David Although I have a spinner and backplate nearly ready to fit to XD, it's quite a large one off a Taylor monoplane, I am interested in your offer. Does the spinner just fit over the prop bolts using the plate as security? or does the spinner require cutting to shape around the prop and requir...

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY G-AVXC (NOW G-NIPR) !!!
Hi Paul Called in to see you yesterday but as usual you were defying gravity. Sorry about the pic of XC but it got battle damage due to not passing the drop check - frame was cat 5. XD was registered 26/10/67 and test flown 22/02/68. We could maybe meet up towards next weekend. Weather permitting, I...
