Re: Nipper exhaust required
Hi David Don't know if this is of any help but back in the days of the PFA they did a collection of papers called 'Light Aircraft Noise Reduction' with a couple of articles on VW exhaust systems. One of the articles is the acro advanced exhaust system. Could send you a copy of the VW part. Regards S...

Re: ZS-UDT fuel pump ,carburettor & compufire
Hi Jantar Its an SEV 46C and they were fitted to Renault Dauphines. Spares are as rare as hens teeth, I doubt you will find any as I went through the same excercise a few years ago. I did find a pump that fits (well you just have to ease the fixing holes as the centres are very slightly different). ...

Re: Nipper Drawings
Hi RiP
I've got a set of Nipper kit drawings....any good? I got them microfiched a while back and not to sure of the condition If they are any good I could knock some prints off. I've also got one or two Fairey Avions drawings. What information are you after?
Cheers

Re: carburettors
No experience of the CD150 but don't try rejetting the Zenith, I did and it didn't perform very well. Keep it for someone who might rebuild a 1500cc or just chuck it in the bin.

Re: Undersized bolts?
Rob Stupid question, have you tried a 2BA nut on the old bolt?? Is the 2BA bolt a good fit in the rod end?? I still feel that as Jim has suggested that these are worn 2BA bolts. Incidentaley the plans quote A59 not A25 bolts. According to my Zeus tables the clearance for 2BA is 4.8mm. Is the bellcra...

Re: Undersized bolts?
Hi Rob Looks like my info might have lead you up the preverbial garden path :( . Perhaps the fixings were changed to B.A. when Slingsby started to build Nippers, I have no knowledge of Fairey Avions built Nippers.Try Raymond Cuypers in Belgium, he is founder member of the Belgian Nipper Club and is ...

Re: Aileron play
Hi Rob All the bolts on a Nipper are AGS (or should be  ) and are BA or BSF. Bolts are available from Light Aero Spares ordered by size and grip length. If my memory serves me right the bolts are 2BA but I have drawings of the assemblies and will check. Will try to PDF the drawings and send y...
