Re: VW exhaust scheme
Hi Guys, I experimented with loads of different ex' systems as I was at a noise sensitive strip....the best solution is twin pipes, perforated at the end and 50% crimped, inside "cans" that were also perforated......picture attached. There are two designs here, the one with the red heat mu...

Re: SEV Fuel Pump, service or replace
Hi Guys, My two peneth: The Citroen 2cv uses is similar pump, it is low profile, in its assembled form the fuel pipes are in the wrong position, but I believe it is a simple operation to remove the top body and rotate it, the bolts are in an arrangement that will allow this. The QH pump has part pla...

Re: Nose leg to Bungee mod
Hi Ronald, Yes, the top hat is made from 4130 and requires welding together. Only one 1080 bungee required. I am looking into an alternative to the Neiman rings for the nose gear, just need to do a load test and put a mod' request in! The LAA are abysmally slow in processing mod's. The nose gear Nei...

Re: Nose leg to Bungee mod
Hi,
You will need to change the “top hat” on the top of the nose leg which I can supply for £125. You will need to get the 1080 bungee.
I am having trouble getting the modification paperwork from the LAA at the moment, but hopefully will have it soon.
Regards
Neil

Re: 1834cc Engine for sale
Hi,
Sorry, only just found your message. Yes, still available, but I have offered it to someone else. I will get back to you. I do have the parts to build another one, it could include the CBR alternator but without the Leburg controllers & coils.
Regards
Neil

Re: New engine
Hi Sven, I am currently away from home so using a horrible iPhone to type...slow & tedious, plus I don’t have access to all the photos. Anyway: Oil systems: Oil Feed: I have found a supplier for a front cover for the oil pump, which is actually designed for an external oil feed to a cooler, but,...
