Re: WORK AND PLAY!

Neil, Below the 'preview' button I have a box titled 'Filename' and 'browse'. Do you have that? If so click 'browse', explore your harddrive, look for the pics you want (in between those ones of the ladies!) Then click it to select. Then you must click 'add the file' which will transfer to the websi...

WELL DONE WILLEM!

Willem, THAT IS FANTASTIC!!! You lucky guy. I had to wait until age 26 before I got mine! You have the luxury of having plenty of time to get the money together and restore it as slowly as you wish, to the quality that you wish. I guess you will also be making plans to get a PPL in the next couple o...

Hello David, I would like to say thanks very much for your efforts with the front page. It really is looking so much better. Perhaps the 'traffic' will increase now without the under construction page. I would like to have the codes to have a little dabble, please PM me whenever you like. Thanks aga...

Hello Darren, Thanks for posting, the forum has been a little stagnant of late! It has been a while since I last flew mine (and therefore spun it) but it was also a willing spinner when asked to. From what I remember it was a comfortable predictable spin to the right with recovery within 1/4 turn. T...

The slooooow restoration of G-AVXC (to become G-NIPR)

I voluntarily grounded G-AVXC in November 2003 after I discovered very light surface corrosion on the fuselage tubing. This was my first involvement with aircraft restoration and I naively thought it would take three or four months and cost a couple of thousand at most. WRONG! Here we are over three...

The Bumble Bee - Barton, Summer 2006.

This is a picture of me just about to launch in 'the bumble bee' G-AWJE.
The owner Kate Howe very kindly invited me to take it for a 45 min spin, for which I am very grateful.
Thanks again, Kate.

G-NIPR likely to be there!

G-NIPR is progressing well (at last!) and it will be a pleasure to take her from the north of Scotland to North Weald.
I will also book the time off and do my utmost to make it.
Lets get a good crowd together.
Maybe you can persuade Raymond to come over too, Willem?

Paul.

Hi Willem,
Good to hear from you! I will make my best effort to get to Belgium in NIPR this year, hopefully for the fly-in.
If you ever want a visit to Scotland, send me a message. Would be happy to show you around.

Paul.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

Hello Group, I would like to wish you all a very happy, prosperous and safe 2007. I would love to hear about any Nipper related plans you have (or flying generally) in this coming year. I hope the newly christened G-NIPR will be airworthy again in the spring, and I plan to do as much flying as I poss...

Hello Guys, Hope you are all well. Sorry I have been quiet of late, had the small matter of getting married, going on honeymoon and a few domestic problems! Anyhow the good news is that G-NIPR is shaping up nicely, with the fuselage now covered. Early new year should see it airworthy. Bit worried ab...

I second that emotion!

Yes a great couple of hours for me. THANKS VERY MUCH PAT! Funny how these things happen, I had no idea until this morning that I would have enough time in Bristol to make this work. Then when the alarm went off at 0500 I booted up the laptop to get Pats number off an e-mail. Then did my work stuff, ...

Pat's profile....

Hello Pat, Thanks for the profile, made interesting reading. I'll swap you some 'six' time for some of your Wessex five time. One of my favourite choppers, growing up alongside Lee on Solent as I did! I remember at the age of around 12/13 being the only soul stood at the fence when 781 SAR flight di...
