aerobatic sights

Anyone made or fitted any? If so how do you figure out the angle to mount? (Top surface of wing seems to be angled about 20 degrees from horizontal).

Well, the owner of this Nipper won many competitions with this setup…

“Judging an aerobatic sequence involves assessing the flight path and attitude of the competing aircraft as it flies each figure…”

Note ‘flight path’ in that. If you have ever flown or watched a protracted inverted level flight in Nipper you will know how odd it looks. I suggest you do what others of use have done and use the top fuselage tube as your level datum. The 45* line off that will then approximate your flight path. Inverted… fly so that you are not descending or climbing (hint, push fwd a lot).

Although it can’t beat a wing tip sight I have done well with fine line masking tape on the canopy.
A little help goes a long way.
