Looking for a Tipsy Nipper

Hi Fellow Nipper Owners
I have just joined in the hope that I could find a Tipsy Nipper or project anywhere in the world that I could purchase and ship to the USA.

I first flew in ZS-UAD (which I notice is gong through another rework. Then I just had to have one.
The first aircraft that I owned was a damaged Tipsy Nipper (ZS-UAU) that I purchased and rebuilt in 1969 in South Africa and flew for many fun filled hours.

I have tried to locate ZS-UAU, it was registered to a MR Phil GEERS on the South Coast of South Africa.

I immigrated to Califorina in 1985 where I have been very active in rebuilding damaged certified aircraft and I have also built three RV 4's and an RV 8 in the last 12 years

My mission now is to find a Tipsy that I could restore. There must be someone out there that knows somebody that could steer me in the right direction to acquire one of these little beauties that I could clean up and take to EAA at Oshkosh.

I am in the export of aircraft business to and from the USA and world wide, ferrying and containerising of light aircraft - a small business plug for anyone who needs help from the USA.
