Nipper Force Landing - Pilot Ok.

Postby G-NIPR » Sat Feb 05, 2011 10:46 am

Internet press reports say that G-ATBW (the yellow and black one) has force landed, apparently rather well, into a field in
Hanningfield, Essex.
Pilot reported as walking away with no injury. No mention could be found about damage to the airframe.
Reports also state that the prop detached in flight.

I have spoken with the pilot of G-ATBW, he is absolutely fine......the usual press nonsense published.

The prop' bolts failed at 2300ft, the prop' cleared the a/c and landed in a field and is now with the AAIB. Perfect forced landing in a field. A/c wing removed for transportation back to Stapleford and the a/c is being reassembled to fly.
