I asked Neil to check for me and it looks like 3/32" cable is used for all three control runs.

Correction:
Following discussion with Bruntons I ordered my cables to BSW12 (Galv. Aircraft Cable) adding the cable diameter of 0.12ins. measured from the ‘original’ Fairey cables fitted on ‘RBG. Drawings of these cables do exist with NK&C Ltd but I decided to have them manufactured to pattern and I supplied my own fittings such as turnbuckle ends or plates.
On receipt of my fittings and patterns, Bruntons actually supplied cables to BSS2W9 10cwt (3/32” - 0.106ins dia. measured) including proof loading to 560lbs following assembly.
Aileron balance cost £26.46 and p&S aileron cables 18.03 ea. with Approved certificate / Certificate of Conformity. (2004 prices)

Hi Neil,
Sorry to hear about the family bereavement, my thought's are with you.
Thanks for the mail, will shortly be picking up, Nipper wise, where I left off 3 years ago, also due to a family bereavement and the things that needed to be sorted out.

Hi Glen,
Thanks for the sentiments.
Just a thought, I am sure you know about the issue with overtightening the aileron cables and bending the belcranks, Mandatory Inspection 28/7/1975.
