Nosewheel , tyre , inner tube wanted .

I am after a nose wheel , tyre and inner tube for my T66 Mk. 1 Nipper please , everything considered .

My mk3, and the mk3 drawings, uses a 400 x 4 tyre and associated tube. This is a common size and aircraft tyres are readily available from the usual aircraft suppliers. TOST are the gold standard, and correspondingly expensive. I think the 'double rib' nosewheel tyre shown on the drawings is obsolete.

I have schemed up a mod to change the near unobtainable obsolete (Hawker Hurricane tailwheel) size mains for 400 x 4 tyres, including a fit for standard size bicycle discs.

It may be worth contacting Watts Aviation Services - aircraft tyre specialists - 01594 847290 www.wattsaviation.co.uk. for a nose wheel (anti-shimmy) tyre. I purchased mine from them in 2012.
