Public holiday today, so more or less finalised the frame work. Popped the canopy on to check the fit. This canopy is not very well made so will have to use rudder shims between the frame and the canopy in certain places. I'm busy making a aluminium "frame" that fits around the edges of the canopy on the outside which will serve two purposes, one, to spread the clamping forces evenly around the edges and two, to make a presentable finish once painted.
The yellow sheeting drapped over the air frame is to keep things clean, as i have resident bats in the roof and they insist on flying around inside my workshop and there toilet habits are "any time, any place".
