I don't believe it! All this time waiting for one and I've just decided to shell out that much on the bits for a Luciole - I must have done something bad in a former life Confused

Just thought I'd pop my head in, as an ex Nipper owner and having shared a hanger with Larry's Nipper for the last couple of years I can confirm it is indeed one of the nicest you'll probably find, only thing missing to make it perfect is Tip Tanks ! Wink

An excellent buy for anyone looking for a Nipper.....still wouldn't tempt me away from my Cassutt though !

.......Hi Des, don't mean to "tread on your toes"! but I think the internal aux' tank with 3 gals is a better alternative, same fuel as the tip tanks but less agro!
Hope you are enjoying your cassutt, I bet its great fun.

Hi Neil,

Good point actually, internal tanks are another great sollution however I really liked the look that the Tip Tanks gave to the Nipper, horses for courses I guess !

Loving the Cassutt, just wish I had more time to fly it ! Certainly gets the pulse racing with a bit of a crosswind though !

All the Best!

I quite like the tip tanks! Deposit paid, I hope to collect G-CCFE at the weekend!! I'll be taking her into priory farm, and then (once I've got the hang of short field landings) into a farm strip near my house.

G-CCFE now at her new home in Suffolk! Had a great journey back from Breighton and did my first landing in her (or indeed any nipper!) at Priory Farm. Did a few circuits before taking her into a private 300 metre strip (her new permanent home), no problems!
She's a sweet machine to fly and I look forward to having some real fun in her. I shall of course be seeking out spin training etc before trying anything too exciting!

Regards, Rob
