LAA RALLY 2011- Who's going this year?

Postby G-NIPR » Thu Jul 07, 2011 10:17 pm

I'm chuffed to discover I AM now able to go to Sywell this year after all!
Originally unable to get the leave from work, but now approved.
I plan to set off early on the Friday morning and camp out until Sunday or Monday.
Are any of you fine folk going to make it this year?
I hope so...
Fingers crossed for the weather as usual.

Paul.

Possibly , but regretable not by Nipper as I am sadly going to have to sell
her Sad
This is due to lack of use and various other ciumstances.
Will post a for sale soon.

Count me in also........

Paul, you are passing our strip at Linley Hill on your way down.
There is fuel, hangar and free b&b if required.
We could go down as a Nipper combine collecting others on the way.
Give me a nudge when your plans are sorted.

Cheers

John

John,
That sounds great. I was going to pop into Beryls place at Fishburn, but Linley might be better.
Could you give me some more details such as precise location and dimensions please?
I will be aiming to leave INV on the Friday early AM, subject to weather and get to your area by just after noon.
I was hoping to spend a night or two under canvas at the rally, then set off back home on the Sunday. I have Monday as a fallback option for weather too.
Lets get a plan together!
Anyone else??

Paul.

Arriving 1030 sat (in ASXI)
Look forward to seeing you all on which is probably
my last Nipper hurrah!! Sad
Am not giving up flying however, just upgrading (?)to a share
in a Eurofox,
Will continue to support the Nipper frat, just in a different a/c.
It will enable me to bring Rose/friends along so no great loss: just cant
do upsidedown stuff Confused
See you there.
Regards,
Pat

Well, I'll be there Saturday. Sadly not flying-in, longer approval process (and materials ordering) than expected on the Luciole - but we live in hope Smile
