Fly In's and Fly Out's for 2008 - You idea here please!

Postby G-NIPR » Sun Nov 25, 2007 10:52 pm

Hello All,
Giving some thought to next years flying season and the possibility of Nipper gatherings.
Does anyone have any idea's for interesting meets? Obviously we are quite geographically spread and
it would require some work ( I guess I would be going south from here!)

Here are a couple of ideas of mine:

Kirkbymoorside (where Slingsby built their Nippers)
Yearby (To see Barry Smith and his amazing Acro Advanced - Strict PPR)
Turweston (To show the PFA that the Nipper aint dead!!)

ANYWHERE in Ireland (To experience chilled out aviation the Irish way and sample the black stuff!)

Over to you.....

Paul.

Everyone's always welcome to pop into Antwerpen.

We are having our annual Stampe & Ercoupe fly-in the 3-4 May 2008. A visiting Nipper would be great!

Fancy going to Antwerp if it can be agreed with the company against aviation. Maybe Larry will make a 3 ship?

Hi everyone

Wouldn't mind going to Antwerp myself, that would make a foursome........how about a whole squadren?

I was also thinking of organising a Tipsy/Nipper fly in to my base airfield (Crowland)subject to commitee approval.

Any views

Great idea Stuart.

Any other takers?

A formation of Nippers would make a superb picture.

Stuart, Paul,
I would seriously consider Antwerp, if my mods get through and the restoration is complete by then.defintely yes to Turweston and Yearby as well. Crowland is also a possibility. Paul, Ireland is a great idea, but aint there lots of water between here and there????? Shocked
Dont you need mode S for foreign trips ?
All the best for Xmas and O8 to all owners and those interested in our little cartoon aeroplanes !!! Very Happy

Pat Very Happy
