The wing is much like a prop', it swells during the damp periods, and shrinks when it drys out.......there is no harm in checking the bolt torque, it is even worth withdrawing them to inspect for corrosion.....my original ones that were in G-AZBA before restoration were red rusty and badly pitted (still makes me shiver). If you do fit them in the damp period it is worth retorquing in the summer when it has been dry for quite a while.
